Pleated draperies connect to the rod using metal traverse rod pins. If Buying Draperies Online: Make sure to specify "For Use On A Traverse Rod". If your drapery arrives with large, plastic, adjustable "contraptions" - those are not traverse rod pins and they will damage the rod. The plastic "contraptions" must be removed and replaced with proper pins, super easy to do! There are no traverse rods made that will work with the large, plastic "contraptions". Reach out to us if you have questions!

This rod comes standard with about 3 carriers per linear foot. This is the correct for 99.99% of all draperies. You can specify a custom carrier quantity if you want to - but, it is extremely uncommon. Do no specify a custom carrier quantity unless you are a drapery maker or have been told to do so by your fabricator.
