Nothing makes a statement quite like wrought iron. And with this great entry-level collection, House Parts has created an easy to use drapery hardware system that will look great in any room of your home. Using a combination of specially finished metal finials and hollow core telescoping drapery poles, this collection gives you the look and feel of a wrought iron treatment without the expense and weight of a true solid iron pole.
You'll find a selection of rustic and traditional finials available to fit the House Parts Wrought Iron curtain rods. One of the most popular finials is the New Orleans. The ornate design truly captures the look and feel of old-world wrought iron. Of course, if you are looking to keep it simple, then why not choose the Simplicity finial or the traditional Arrow. All of the finials in this collection are available in the most popular finishes.
It's important to remember that the drapery rods in this House Parts collection are telescoping. That means that the width is adjustable as one portion of the pole slides into the other. While that makes it very easy to install these rods, it also means they are not capable of holding as much drapery fabric as a solid pole. And, drapery rings may resist moving across the area where the two sections of pole come together. If you're hanging one-way draw draperies, you may want to consider a collection that has fixed width poles available.
The pole diameter for the House Parts Wrought Iron is one-inch. You most commonly use smaller pole diameters on standard window sizes. If your window is really long or unusually high, you may want to consider a collection with a larger pole diameter. Keep in mind that window hardware installed higher off the floor looks smaller from the viewer's perspective. So, most of the time, you'd want to use a larger pole diameter on high or long windows.
